PDF Unfold converts PDFs you select into a format that can be imported into a Google Doc. A Google account and permission to install the add-on are required. A Google Workspace administrator may restrict installation.
Editable layout reconstructs text, supported tables, and fields. Fonts, spacing, line breaks, pagination, and graphics placement may change. OCR may misread or omit characters. Positioned fields can have limited room for longer edits. You can create a new document, append pages, or replace all content in the current document. Appending uses a DOCX export and reimport; Google-specific features may change. The current document must have a single tab and the current and combined DOCX copies must each fit within 45 MB for appending.
No conversion is guaranteed to reproduce a PDF exactly. You are responsible for reviewing the result, especially numbers, names, dates, and content used for official or important decisions. The service does not certify a document or verify the truth of its contents.
Your documents and responsibilities
You retain your rights in uploaded documents and conversion results. You authorize us to process, temporarily store, and transfer the files as needed to provide the conversion you request, as described in the privacy policy.
Upload only material you have permission to use. Do not use the service to distribute unlawful content, bypass another person's access controls, interfere with the service, or evade usage limits. A PDF password may be supplied only when you are authorized to access that document.
Keep your original PDF. PDF Unfold is a conversion service, not long-term storage or a backup service.
Subscriptions and free pages
Free includes 5 source pages once per add-on account, with no payment card required. It does not automatically become a paid subscription.
Pro includes 500 source pages per calendar month (UTC) and costs US$9.99 per month or US$89.99 per year, charged upfront. The 500-page allowance resets at the start of each UTC calendar month without rollover, including when billed yearly.
Unlimited costs US$17.99 per month or US$159.99 per year, charged upfront and includes unlimited source pages, with no monthly page cap under either billing interval.
Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the chosen interval unless cancelled before renewal. Applicable taxes and the total amount are shown at checkout. All three tiers include OCR and editable imports. The per-conversion and processing limits below apply to every tier.
Start checkout on the website or inside the add-on. Sign in with the same Google account to use your subscription in both places. Lemon Squeezy is our Merchant of Record and the authorized reseller for paid subscriptions. You purchase from Lemon Squeezy, while we provide and support PDF Unfold. Lemon Squeezy handles payments, applicable sales taxes, receipts, refunds, and billing administration. Its Buyer Terms govern the purchase alongside the offer shown at checkout; these terms govern your use of PDF Unfold.
Annual prices displayed as a monthly equivalent are for comparison: annual subscriptions are charged for the full year upfront, not in monthly installments. The checkout shows the billing interval, total charge, and applicable tax before payment. Paid access is activated after payment is confirmed. Do not share the add-on's account credentials or attempt to attach another customer's purchase to your account.
How pages and processing limits work
Selected source pages count toward Free's one-time allowance or Pro's current calendar-month allowance. A successful conversion consumes its selected page count once, even if you later decide not to import the result. Failed or cancelled conversions release their reserved allowance. A new conversion of previously completed pages counts as new use. Unlimited usage is recorded, but an active Unlimited subscription has no monthly page cap.
The service accepts PDFs up to 200 MiB and up to 100 selected pages per conversion, subject to the remaining Free or Pro allowance. Image, output-size, processing-time, and queue limits also apply to every tier. A document within the upload limit may still be too complex to process. You may need to select fewer pages, reduce image size, or retry when capacity is available.
Unlimited pages do not include dedicated processing capacity, guaranteed turnaround, or a guaranteed uptime level. We may restrict abusive requests or access that threatens other users or the service.
Cancellation, payment problems, and refunds
Open your account on the website or use the add-on's billing controls to open the Lemon Squeezy customer portal and cancel before your next renewal. Cancelling stops future renewal; paid access normally continues until the end of the current paid period. If you need help cancelling, contact support at least 48 hours before renewal so the request can be handled in time. Uninstalling the add-on or revoking Google access does not, by itself, cancel a subscription.
Payment failures, expired subscriptions, refunds, or disputes can affect access. If billing status looks wrong, contact support with your order reference and the email used at checkout. Do not send payment card numbers.
Our refund policy explains how to report duplicate charges, billing mistakes, unavailable paid access, or conversion problems. Requests are reviewed individually; cancellation does not automatically refund a payment or unused subscription time. Approved refunds are processed through Lemon Squeezy. Nothing in these terms or the refund policy limits mandatory consumer rights or Lemon Squeezy's authority under its Buyer Terms.
Support, availability, and changes
Setup and troubleshooting instructions are available on the support page. The service depends on Google Docs, hosting, and payment services that can change or become unavailable. We may maintain, update, or suspend affected functions as necessary, and will communicate material changes to paid access.
If prices or these terms change, we will provide notice before changes apply where required. A new price will be disclosed before it is charged. Existing consumer rights continue to apply.
